Bryan I tried a new SD card loaded with v14 and everything seems to work. I then upgraded using the webui to v15. I think i'm back in business. Thanks for the help. Mike

The Pi is a model B ver 2.0. Light status is only a solid red (pwr) light. If I switch the sd card to the one with rasparian loaded and reboot the lights flash as you indicated. Same happens while attached to the Heatermeter board. Should I try a new sd card or could I have installed it...

Am I correct to assume that the pads 5VTC on the V.6.3 need to be bridged to get +5vdc to the TC amp?

Thanks for the info. I calculated the S-H parms by using an online calculator. Inputs were three resistance values at known temps. Near freezing. near boiling and room temp. The resulting parms didn't give accurate temp readings...

I added a MF52-103 thermistor across probe 3 jack to sense ambient temp but it reads 185 degrees at room temp. I have the resistance set to 10000. Any suggestions?
