This comp has changed the 'pork rib' category to a 'pork' category! This is much better for the teams that do not want to show up at 7AM and start cooking ribs! But, you still can if you want to. Good move, I think. 1 month away. Get your apps in. -Mike

A lot of comps we do have a Peoples Choice for charity. The teams cook the meat (chicken wings, pulled pork, sausage, things like that) and then the organizers sell tickets to the public so they can vote for their favorites. -Mike

Just a heads up. If anyone needs a hotel room for this comp hurry up and book it. Bon Jovi is playing at Mohegan casino on Saturday night. So the hotel there is filling up quick. I booked at the Courtyard Norwich. It's about 2 miles from the comp site! Two months to go, get your apps in! -Mike
