Thanks, Ralph & Brian. I am putting together my Mouser order but now the LED display 763-0216K1Z-FSA-GBW is backordered too... for 3 weeks! Sheesh.

Ralph, is this a Type K connector? The page header seems to say that everything on that page is Type K, but the product description references a "mini connector."

Bryan, there is a new problem with the Mouser project. The IC socket 571-1-390261-9 is listed as End of Life, and can only be ordered in quantities of 17 or greater now. Mouser suggests 571-1-2199298-9 as a replacement. It looks like a good swap to me, but can you verify that?

I'm on this thread because my ET-732 probes bit the dust even though I tried very hard to take good care of them. I'm going thermocouples, hence my interest in Heatermeter.

I am new to the thread, and totally up for one of the new boards with the SMD work done. I have enough hobbies and tools to buy without learning SMD, too!
