I also got the $199 deal from HD, the last one in the store. It was the gas lighter version. Easy to assemble! I wasn't looking for a Performer when I went in, but at that price, it was a no brainer!

Greetings, all. I arrive in peace from another nation. My primary grill is a Big Green Egg, but I just bought a Performer ($199 at HD) for use at a second location. Any tips you could share to help translate between them? Many thanks, John

Hello all, I'm considering a Genesis, and wondered how one cooks with indirect heat, given that the elements run lengthwise. Use one element? Is there sufficient room to cook a turkey this way? I'm more used to grills in which the elements run fore to aft as opposed to lengthwise. Thanks, John
