Weber Kettles, Rotisserie kit, WSM wheels, San Jose

The Rotisserie is sold, but I still have the WSM clone for $25 and the 18.5 kettle. I'm going to give it a day or two before it goes on CL and free curb pick up. Willing to take a trade for a bag of lump. https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/for/6081083533.html

Weber Kettles, Rotisserie kit, WSM wheels, San Jose

If anyone is in the Bay Area I am selling a couple of kettles, a Rotisserie kit, and free for the taking I have 3 wheels to fit a WSM. I used a 22.5 kettle with the Rotisserie ring and made a smoker out of it. I have a diversion plate I can include. It's probably faster to contact me via the...

Weber Summit Charcoal Grill article in Wired Magazine

John go for it. I sold my Performer and traded a 22 WSM because of the Akorn. I found a floor model for $90. You can check Walmart inventory here: http://brickseek.com/walmart-inventory-checker/ item: 40267083

looking for dedicated smoker, what do you recommend?

Jim, if it was me I would keep the gas grill and get a WSCG or similar Kamado and sell everything else. A Kamado or WSCG can cook anything and bake your dessert. That is my preference based on how and what I want to cook now. My experience goes back to the early 1980 using Webers Kettles and...

    Need Advice on Pizza Oven

Joe, I think the OP was referring to Pizza Que for Weber Kettles which is similar to a Kettle Pizza but made by Pizza Craft. I have their propane Pizzeria Pronto that is a nice little portable Pizza Oven. Before the Pizzeria Pronto, I used a Weber kettle with some mods. Lately we cook all our...

So... anyone old enough to remember me?

Hi Keri, I still check in every now and then. I just updated my signature. Gone are the 18 and 22 WSMs, Performer, and I took my Ranch Kettle to work. I mostly use my Smokey Joe to hold my Chimney charcoal starter. I just picked an Akorn Kamado which I am liking a lot.

Red Stainless Performer San Jose $75-$100

I have a red stainless Performer (circa 2000) I will be putting up for sale. It needs to be cleaned up. I disconnected the propane tank and propane accessories but I still have them. I was thinking cleaned up for $100 or $75 “as is”. If anyone is interested in looking before I list it on...

    Diffuser plate on kettle?

For more space, you can add another rack on top of the existing. I think Chris has some examples on another part of the site. Also you can use a CB Stacker or just use a Weber Rotisserie ring go get more space between racks.

    Diffuser plate on kettle?

I have used a diverter plate/pan in the middle with both a ring/snake and a basket of coals and have gotten some long cooks out of both a 18 and 22 kettle. The foil pan looks good. You can use it to mimic a WSM. You just need to practice with both lit coals and air control. You can start with a...

Weber summit vs big green egg

W Tyler, I would guess the WSG is similar to your Bubbq Keg? You have a nice collection of cookers with some overlapping of functions. How best do you use each one and what are your favorites?

    Ecb @ 330*+

If price is an issue go with a used Kettle and search the Charcoal Kettle folder for long burn times, snake method, basket of coals, or search my name and you should pull up a few older threads that relate to using a kettle for low and slow cooks. Also be on the look out for used WSMs. If you...

Weber summit vs big green egg

Mark, I am also planning to upgrade/sell my current stock of Weber grills/smokers to something else. Our cooking habits have changed; as a result I have not used either our Ranch Kettle or 22 WSM in a couple of years. I also have searched outside of the Weber family. Ceramics are very popular...
