    Thanks for all the replies. I don't want to remove the porcelain enamel, just the melted reflectix. I know that I won't be able to get it all off and I would like for it to be pretty again. Right now it looks like a mess.

    Painting a WSM

    Has anyone ever painted a WSM? I posted in another thread (Reflectix thread) That I had Reflectix melt to my WSM and now it looks horrible and I was thinking about sanding it and then painting it. Alternately, anyone know how to get melted reflectix off of my WSM?

    Ga/Fl Tailgate BBQ Cookoff... Jesup, Ga. FBA

    Bill, As always, a great comp, but I should have stayed home!!!! The comp in Beaufort ended up only having 4 teams, 2 of them were brought in by the spnsors just to cook BBQ to sell, leaving only 2 teams for 3 places!!! I look forward to next year. Russ, it was nice to meet you late Friday...

    Reflectix question

    Beware of Reflectix and how you use it. I wrapped my WSM with it on a cold day and it was fine until I took the lid off, the temp spiked and the reflectix melted on to the WSM. BTW, can you paint WSM's
