    Frying eggplant was always the go to when growing up, but I haven't fried any in 2 years, just baked on parchment paper ....dunk the eggplant in flour, then an egg wash mixed with a little oil with salt/pepper/garlic then into the oven on the preheated pan....comes out perfect, then dress them...

    Went to Daynes in his current location with my son a year after going to Goldees, it was VERY good, just a hair under Goldees. My son has been to a lot of BBQ places, He still ranks Franklins #1, Goldees a very close #2, and Daynes at #3, but all 3 So close it really doesn't matter. I don't know...

    You need a grinder, I started with a Kitchen Aid grinder and ground hundreds of pounds of pork butts with it, is it ideal?, nope, but it's cheap to start with , LEM makes good grinders, I got a #5 on sale and it's good enough and miles ahead of the Kitchen Aid....
