    Low temperature

Here's what I do when I have that issue. 1. Make sure everything is off. Main burners, side burner, propane tank. Also, open the lid to eliminate any risk of gas build-up. 2. Turn on the propane tank all the way. You can open it fast or slow - the grill doesn't care. 3. Let the grill build up...

Hoping to restore my 10 year old Weber Genesis Silver A

The officially recommended repair per Weber's website for the cookbox is sanding the outside with sandpaper (~200 grit or so) and using high-temp barbeque spray paint. So it'll do the trick no problem. Seconding Rich's recommendation to not paint the inside of the grill.

    S-320 Clean UP

POR15 is great stuff - I use it on vehicle projects myself. I like self-etching primer on stuff like this because the spray can is easier.

    Performer from Craigslist

Congrats on 56 years together, and congrats on the nice Performer!

Performer timer - does it turn off?

It doesn't turn off, but it barely uses any battery when it's sitting there showing a static number.

Stainless grates vs gourmet stainless grates for genesis 300?

The SS ones are $120 from momma Weber.

    S-320 Clean UP

Congrats on the new grill! My two cents on the grill: - On the stainless steel you can use either Weber Stainless Steel cleaner or Barkeeper's Friend to make it look like new. I also like to use Simple Green as a general cleaner and degreaser. - The cookbox shows signs of a small grease fire. I...

Should I buy it? Is it fixable?

That's a good deal, especially for a red. Get it! :D

I come to you heartbroken and defeated

If the knobs won't pop back into place, there's an issue with the manifold internals. You'd probably have to replace the manifold assembly, as I know Weber doesn't recommend trying to take the manifold apart to service it.

    S330

That's it. The Weber # for those igniter kits is 67847.

    S330

Genesis E/S series grills were side knob from '07-'10, and front from '11-present. If it has the side knobs, it has to be a 310 (3 burners, no extras) or 320 (3 burners, side burner). The 330 (3 burners, side burner, Sear Station) started with the front knobs. Igniter kit for that grill is...

    will it crack??

In recent conversation, I learned that Weber's going to have a new cover for the Performers. It's part # 7152, and it's available through Weber Customer Service now, and in stores October 1st. The new cover is UV resistant, has velcro to snug it to the grill, and has a 3 year warranty. I did not...

I come to you heartbroken and defeated

If the brass valve stems are bent (the metal part the knobs connect to) it's possible that the valves are bent and binding up inside the manifold. Unfortunately, Weber doesn't normally cover storm damage.

    will the Q 320 griddle work on the Q 3200 ?

Ken, the design of the griddle prevents the use of two griddles in the grill - two griddles would trap too much heat under them and damage the grill. Weber # 6506 (as pictured above) fits the Q 300, Q 320, and Q 3200 grills.

what stores are selling the jumbo joe in store?

The local Sprawl-Marts near me stock them normally, as does the True Value.
