Oh on a side note she said to tell them that you think their was an air pocket in the stone. Because she said any stone that has even the smallest air pocket takes in water when you clean it. ..Then it explodes when the water becomes superheated and the steam can't escape.
Hey bud I just showed this to a friend who is a Pampered Chef salesperson and she says it is 100% under warranty. The kicker is she said they usually ask for you to return it in the original box. That's b.s. but you can try. Good luck.
I used the overhead lighting fixture threaded tubing that I read about on here a while back. It was a 6 or 7 pack...I only used the smallest tube. The rest of the pack is in my tool box.
So I met up with the S-320 guy and below is what I came home with. All it needs us a little cleaning and it should come out like new.
Here is my Memorial Day line up....all going for 3 to 6 hours a piece. I know it's overkill but I kind of like having all that grilling space!!!
(Sorry for...
Memorial Day first rib smoke
So I finally put my Mini WSM to the test....my first ribs smoke.
I picked up baby back (4.5lbs) and regular st. louis style ribs (7.5lbs).
I smoked using 3 applewood chunks using the minion method with Kingsford charcoal. I utilized the 3-2-1 method on the st...
Thank you all for the compliments. Had a lot of fun making it and it's basically a no brainer because of how well it works.
I am uploading some action photos at the moment.
Hello everyone,
I would like to start with a huge thanks to the entire TVWBB.com community who has helped me through my many Weber related projects either directly or indirectly. The amount of information and pure genius on this forum is unbelievable. So here it is in all it's glory. I still...
Let me see how the stainless genesis pans out....if it falls through and I don't find another one within the next two weeks I am going to rebuild the blue one.
However if the stainless genesis is mine within the next few weeks....I can definitely work something out for you on that left...
Hope this is a better deal
I almost don't want to get too excited over what I'm about to share, in case the deal falls through. I've had a "want to buy" craigslist ad posted for a Weber E320 to try and score another for cheaper and hybrid them if need be. Since I have the LP parts on this one...
That is an insane steal, I mean deal! Don't get me wrong when I said New Yorkers are tight with their pricing...I meant me too lol. When I sell on Craigslist I get top dollar for my items. I recently ran out of items to sell so I am going to have to go shopping in my garage to help fund this...
Very interesting, I love being part of this community.
I really thought I made out good lol. Insult to injury I had to borrow a pickup and drive 110 miles roundtrip...fuel was $40. People out on the East end of Long Island sell their Weber 1000s and older Genesis Silver/Golds for $100 to $250...
Ouch...I could not find one for less than $200 in my area. New Yorkers want top dollar for their items.
I just called Weber again and they said the shelf is $63 and the caster $15 each plus $7 for shipping. So $100 for the bare minimum.
I have recently acquired a 2008 Weber Genesis E-320 and don't know where to start my rehab project. I am doing this project on the cheap because I recently rebuilt two other 20 year old Weber Genesis 1000 Redheads for friends and family.
I called Weber customer care and they said they don't...
