    Throwdown #28: T-Bone Steaks

Peter, any chance we can have the next Challenge ingredient in time to shop for the Grill Fest? :coolkettle: Also, any chance you can pick something that you are really awful at cooking with?! ;) :)

    Throwdown #28: T-Bone Steaks

Dem Bones, Dem Bones, dem... T-Bones... So, the first entry in this category, and my first ever... I'm pretty happy with it for a first attempt, certainly the end result tasted good, so can't really complain... It was a great excuse to shop out some fine steaks anyway! We'll call this Rosemary...

Clean out the Ashes after every cook?

Its as much about consistency as everything. You want your next cook to be as amazing as the last. If sometimes you've cleared out the ash, and sometimes you haven't, you're introducing a variable that you just don't need. If it works, don't break it! :)

    Greetings from London, UK

Hi from Sunny (for now!) London, in the UK :) I've been a Weber fan for years, with a Weber Performer 22in BBQ that is still going strong after 10 years, and a similarly aged Weber fire pit that still provides great evenings and long stories! I finally felt compelled to join up here though...
