Any WSC people find a need for Weber Grilling Rack?

227, but close enough. The pic below is how much charcoal was left over, a few more hours left!

Any WSC people find a need for Weber Grilling Rack?

We'll see. That's a lot of meat stuffed in that cooker! I'm using my Signals Smoke4 and Billows to keep the temp consistent, and I can get some sleep... maybe. At some point I'll have to get up and wrap.

I use it all the time. works perfectly. I have 52 lbs of PB stuffed in the E6, Couldn't do it without the grilling rack.

any buyers remorse of e6 summit purchase when compared to other weber kettles?

Yep, optical illusion. The E6 sits lower, and the WSCGC sits higher. Plus the WSCGC sits on castors instead of regular wheels. Makes it slightly taller in the front as a result. But the slope of my patio makes it perfectly level.

    Tell me about your S6.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I think the S6/E6 are excellent choices if you’re looking to pair down the collection. My only regret is not making the purchases sooner. As was mentioned above, they hold there temps amazing well, even in -30 weather, which I’ve cooked in. 24” is only...

I hear you about how easy it is to get the WSC dialed in quickly. And having two is really nice! I thought about selling my old Genesis Silver, but it makes a great vegetable cooker, and food warmer, so I hung on to it for now.

any buyers remorse of e6 summit purchase when compared to other weber kettles?

I absolutely love the Summit Kamados. I sold all my other kettles (kept Homer though 😉) including a 26” and a wsm 22 to make room for the Summit. A year later I found an E6 for a great price and picked it up too, now I have two Summits. I use these just about everyday, and feed anywhere from...

    Buyer Beware

We get the same thing here in the Twin Cities with Tri Tip. Tri Tip Roast, Sirloin Tri Tip Roast, Sirloin Roasts all get bandied about with the strange labeling.

    Distance of grates

The fit is good. I used three clips,to keep the bowl from slipping off. The seal is good too and the bowl and pot lip are the same size.

Jumbo Joe build into a Jumbo Mini ...Introducing the "Jimmy"

Looks fantastic! Instead of a UDS, you've built a BPS...which could mean something entirely different in Colorado & Washington State ;)

    Distance of grates

I went crazy and made space for three grates and a custom lid. The top grate is 1" from the top, the second grate is 4" from the top, and the third grate is 7" from the top.

WSM Mini Mod Using 18.5 Midsection?

You mean the Jumbo Joe, right? I suppose it's possible with a Jumbo Joe, but I've only tried it with a pro q stacker.
