    First rPi+HM4 smoke experience questions/comments

Ralph - there were a few half burn briquettes, but for the most part everything burnt off.

    First rPi+HM4 smoke experience questions/comments

Oh, I forgot to mention. The 3 lb bone in butt read > 190 around 1630. I removed it, took it inside and checked it out. It didn't pull so I put it back in the smoker with the probe inserted somewhere else. You can see that the temp dropped, then followed the 8 lb butt's curve. Very odd, I...

    First rPi+HM4 smoke experience questions/comments

Sorry I didn't see this sooner, you are probably on your way at this point. - Yup, Minionesque. I filled the ring with unlit briquettes and some peach wood scattered throughout. I then put about a dozen lit briquettes in the center (Started in a chimney). - 2 of the dampers were closed, the...

    First rPi+HM4 smoke experience questions/comments

Nope I didn't really open the lid during those first few triggers. I too changed mine to 10% and refueled. With a combination of the 2 it seems stable now. Loving this HM so far!

#79 In New Jersey Honestly based on the heavy traffic on these forums I am amazed the number isn't in the many hundreds - maybe it is. I have a feeling I will be building many for friends now. Bryan has created an awesome product! Thanks Bryan and to all those who have contributed! I have...

RaspberryPi + LinkMeter blue sky discussion

They're not available for purchase from me, but the plans are available in a convenient ZIP file to ship off to Dorkbot for production. You get 3 in a batch though so people usually sell their spares in the other thread at cost ($10). The PCB designs are also available in EAGLE format on github...

RaspberryPi + LinkMeter blue sky discussion

Bryan (and everyone else) - Thanks for all the great info! Do you plan to make boards available for purchase, for this solution or the linksys variant? (Sorry if this has been asked, I haven't really come across the question). I have been following this thread and the previous router based...
