    The WSM Weber Won't Build

Erik, Thanks for the sound advice. I will connect with Bob and see if he can tell me a little more about them. I like the idea of getting a third "stacker" and hanging ribs, perhaps with no pan a la a BDS... Brad

    The WSM Weber Won't Build

I guess what I'm most interested is first-hand information about the performance and quality of these as compared with the WSM. I'd ask Ian, but he's not exactly unbiased... Secondly, I'd love to know when, and through whom, they might become available in the northeast (I live outside of...

    The WSM Weber Won't Build

Anyone have any more info on these pro Q smokers? I remain pretty intrigued. Apparently they moved the bottom vent up to avoid it dumping ash, and moved the lid thermometer up to where most wsm owners seem to mount it... With all the sections latching together, a door and handles on each...

"quality" bimetal thermometer through guru eyelet?

"quality" bimetal thermometer through guru eyelet?

Those are the temp ranges given in the display pictures for those models. They are supposedly available in the 50/500 range for the same price...the more i look at pics, it seems the 3" dial face is too large to be mounted through a guru eyelet, at least without pulling it away from the cooker...

"quality" bimetal thermometer through guru eyelet?

Thanks all for the replyies. I do plan on getting a Maverick, probably an ET - 7, since I plan on getting chamber temps from the analog thermometer, and could use 2 probes for different meats. It's also hard not to consider Nu Temp with an additional transmitter for the special deal listed in...

"quality" bimetal thermometer through guru eyelet?

This is my first post. I've been lurking here for about 2 weeks (sometimes till 3am, much to the alarm of my fiance), and have absorbed ALOT of info on a number of topics. Don't yet own a WSM, but there is one in my near future for sure. After reading alot of posts, I've become convinced that...
