My new dashboard is online and working. You can see the testing data here:

I was able to modify Steve's code, put two graphs on one page, customize it a bit, and be done!
I may add a little message box at the top of the page that I can update...
AWESOME! This is even better than I was hoping for. I can probably modify your HTML file to display our two graphs easily and monitor both smokers at once.
Thank you!
I am using two HeaterMeters to run two WSM's for a church group I'm in. We'd like to be able to access the HM graph / temps remotely so we can monitor the smokers at church while we're at home. :)
I doubt we will be allowed to port forward on the church's wifi, so I'm looking into other...
Now I feel stupid. 9v battery was of course a great idea to quickly test the fan!
It works fine. Which must mean the problem is in my cat-5 cable. I'll swap that out with another one tomorrow, and I should be smokin'
Thanks! That's what I was trying to say in my original post. :)
I tried both fans with the same HM unit. One fan works as expected. The other fan does nothing, even with the HM showing 100% fan output. The HM works like a charm.
Is there some way to test the actual fan or open it up and check...
Hi everyone,
I bought two assembled HeaterMeter 4.3s from the store. One whole setup is up and working perfectly. But I can't get the second fan to work. The HeaterMeter runs the 1st fan just fine, so I know Bryan sold me a good HeaterMeter. :) I just can't get the 2nd fan to run at all.
Is...
Hi everyone,
I built my first HeaterMeter for my smoker many years ago. Now I'm helping my church group start smoking delicious meats, and I need to get 2 HeaterMeters for the new WSM's we're buying.
We're on a tight budget, so money is a concern. It looks like the thermocouple probes are darn...
Excellent! Problem solved. For some reason my HM wasn't getting a 192.168.1 IP address the other day. A restart of the router and then trying the linked instructions again did the trick. Thank you!
Yes, but that I can't figure out what to do after plugging the HeaterMeter via network cable into my router. Is there an instruction page somewhere on how to access it via the LAN without wifi working?
Let's pretend I'm dumb. :)
Hey guys,
I had to change my wireless encryption settings to WPA2 today, and now I can't figure out how to access the HeaterMeter to update it to connect using the new settings.
I can't remember what the trick is to connect to this thing to configure it for the new network.
Thanks for any...
Thanks! Those are the defaults, which I tinkered with way back when. I think I'm going to revert to those settings for my next smoke and see if it improves my stability. It's working well now, but still seeing some fluctuation.
Pulled pork was a success!
TL;DR - I needed to close the WSM vents better and remove the "B" PID variable.
I followed Andy's advice above and dialed in the smoker much better. For someone's future benefit, here's what I did:
Lit the smoker and assembled it (1 full ring of charcoal, 20 lit...
Thank you guys for all the help. I've got a solid plan on where to go from here. I don't have time for a dry run before my smoke on Friday night. But I should be able to start a couple hours early to work on my temp control before putting the meat on. And I'm doing pulled pork, so I'm not...
