Hi All,
I am in the market for a vacuum sealer. I am a newbie so want to start slow. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts on:

Foodsaver V2450
Foodsaver Gamesaver Deluxe

I see both for around $130. Hoping my wife gets a Kohls 30% off coupon for the V2450.

Hi Chip; you might be interested in the Foodsaver at Costco that is on sale for $120. It's model no. is V4800 I believe. I don't know how it's functionality compares to the V2450.

I bought one of these a couple weeks ago and have been happy with it so far. My intent is two fold; I think it will be great for freezing bulk cuts of meat and preserving other food items. I also plan on using it for sous vide cooking.

Thanks Pete. I am a BJs Wholesale club member. Do you need to be a member of Costo to shop there?
