Chef's Choice - Meat Slicers

B'Day is coming and the wifey is going to buy me a meat slicer. Like to keep it around the 300$ mark and leaning towards Chef's Choice line up. I have it narrowed down to either the 632 or the 650 model. I'm liking the 650 due to the "folding" option for storage, but you do get some limitations with that feature, and I also wonder how it performs being that it's foldable.

Does anyone here have any experience with either model or any other models in the line-up?

My uncle has the 632 and it works really well. I think the tilt design helps. The varitilt models can operate flat or tilted, and it seems to be easier tilted.

We have used it on bacon slab, beef, turkey, and brisket.

Once you take it a part a couple times, cleanup gets pretty easy. Just don't forget to pickup food grade grease.

As for storage, his slid easily back in the box, and he stores it in a closet.
