Beef Dip Recipes?

Hi All,

I love a beef dip sandwich and have some success in building my own but would like to see what others use. My simple recipe includes:

Carmelized Onions
Beef Stock
Ketchup
Chili Sauce
Hot Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
A sugar
Black pepper
Salt if required
Garlic if required

From the above you can see I like a beef/tomato taste.

What do you use or what would you add/change?

I have never gotten it to where I like, so last time I used Johnny's au jus and loved it.
 
I mean, I feel like the main ingredient in a jus should be the jus from roasting your beef. That's where the real flavor is.

You can add beef stock and wine to those drippings, but unless you're mounting the acutal juices from a roast of beef into a sauce, it's going to be anemic tasting, imo.
