There is a store at Concord Mills mall,in Concord,NC,that sells refurbished small appliances, The Kitchen Collection. I got her a profession HD Kitchen Aid mixer for $179. They are usually $200. The new ones are $250-300. They also have a lot of the Artesian models. And colors! Pammi's is red,but they also had black,grey and of course,white! She's gonna use it tomorrow,so I'll let you know how it works.
 
They also have a store in the Burlington outlet area. I'd love for Santa to give me a 5-minute shopping spree in there.

Sweet Pammi Sue just got done using it to make some cookies. Just blasted through the dough! She's already asking for accessories!
 
Look on KA's website. They did have a mail in rebate offer for a free accessory if you bought a new mixer. One of the accessories was the meat grinder.
