Looking for ideas for a chuck roast on my kettle

For my next kettle cook, I would like to do simple chuck roast. I plan on just doing a simple salt/pepper rub, and probally very little smoke, unless there is a specific recipe. I'm looking for just a good beef flavor without bbq sauce.

I am thinking two sided indirect is the way to do this. But how much charcoal? I am thinking 3/4 chimney split over 3/4 unlit?
