Digi Q II and Maverick ET-73

So I am looking at the Digi Q II but I just bought my Maverick ET-73. I see that the Digi Q doesn't have a remote to monitor temps. Do people use both so they can see where their temps are from inside?

I used to do it that way, but after several cooks with the DigiQ, I don't need to do that anymore. Once I set the temp it's a done deal. It maintains the temp until it starts running low on fuel.
