Portable-wise I have a Gas-Go-Anywhere, SJS, SJG, and SJP (acquired in that order). Gotta say I use the SJG more than any other when traveling or for small cooks at home; did a couple of bone-in ribeyes just this last weekend. Will use the Gas-Go-Anywhere if I don't want to mess w/ charcoal, which isn't often.
Thought the SJP would be my goto for family camping, it takes too much cargo space. Haven't even fired it up since acquisition. The SJG and a camp-dutch-oven seem to fit the family camping bill.
We're a family of 2 adults and a couple of kids < 5yrs. A couple of steaks or a package of brats (including sides) is more than enough.
