I got out the Q this weekend and practiced some techniques for future camping trips. I heated the grill to 325, placed a cast iron griddle on the grates to act as a heat sink, place a raised grate over that, and put on a small cookiesheet with chocolate chip cookie dough on the grate. 10 minutes later I had a thin sheet of gooey, greaser, cookie-like something. My wife took one look at it and said, "You didn't put enough flour in your dough." A little more flour later and the Q produced some very nicely baked/grilled chocolate chip cookies. Can't wait to make them at the next scout outing! This is one nice grill!
