Memphis has too many good barbecue shops, you know. There's a great joint down the road from me. The addy is 3530 Ramill Rd, Memphis. It's the very definition of "dive" in the Diners, Drive Ins and Dives lore.
A&R is a relatively sizeable chain here, but this particular shop used to be an independent joint called Big Bills BBQ. I'm not generally a fan of A&R, but they seemed to have left stuff pretty much alone at this location - which is good. Big Bills has great ribs, good nachos and just is an overall good place.
Not the best part of town, though.
