Hi Folks, I am the proud owner of a Weber Genesis Silver B that is about 1.5 yrs old, well used and taken care of.
I'm wondering if it is normal for the middle flavourizer bar to turn bright red/orange from the heat? The other bars never do, just the middle one. Is it fair to assume the middle burner is putting out more heat than the other 2? My remedy has been to turn down the heat to about medium and leave the others on high. I've avoided grilling steaks in the middle of the grill since I'm uncertain how much heat they're getting. Is it normal for this grill to do that?
Thanks in advance, John
