Porterhouse + T-Bone = Dinner

Got a freezer full of beautiful beef the other day from my local friend/farmer. I can't say enough about the quality of this meat. I've never had a steak "melt in my mouth" like this. No credit to the chef. All to the cow and the farmer on this one.

The beautiful marbling on my poterhouse.

Marinated Melinda's T-Bone in worsteshire, pepper, and Monterey Chicken seasoning.

Rubbed mine in EVOO and Monterey Chicken + a little added fresh cracked pepper.

Had the grill cruising at about 425 for potatoes and fried some onions. Opened it up and let it get cooking!

4 minutes/side with a few extra indirect to finish them off.

Removed my strip just to see how it looked right against the bone.

This is exactly how I want my steak. My wife loved hers too. Very complimentary, and she crushed hers nearly as fast as I did mine.

Just glad I wasn't your neighbor smelling that cook. I probably would made an excuse to come over and visit and maybe ask for a sample--

Locally sourced produce + Weber Kettle = Top grub. And yours is. Great looking cook. Bet it taste as good as it looks.
