Pork Belly Burnt Ends ( 14" WSM)

One of my good friends owns a Powder Coating shop in SoCal ( http://www.denmac-ind.com ).* He also does some side biz once in while.* He told me about this new high temp paint so I offered up my little WSM.* Tonight was the test run.

On the top floor for 2 1/2 hours.

Time for some more Rub, Butter and Honey and back in for 1 1/2 hours.

Out of the gooey bath and back on for 15 minutes.

Those burnt ends look amazing. When I was a kid, we used to powder coat our headers and intake manifolds. It will hold up to the heat your WSM will kick out
 
Those burnt ends look mighty tasty Bob. I love the blue on the WSM. I assume the paint survived the test run.
