Had to try the P1G dude's high heat baby backs.
45 min. indirect
30 min indirect in foil
5 min. direct
10 min. indirect

A smallish rack of Farmland extra meaty ribs, dusted with SYD all purpose rub. link
Two baskets of Kb, one on each side, applewood for smoke.

Turned 180 half way through the 45 min. time period.

Very nice Bob, those look great. Barb and I have done BBs Jim's HH way a couple of times and it's now my "go to" way of doing them. Someone on here did spares or SL spares HH and said they came out great too.

Lazy? Forgetful? Me?
Yes to both, but....
until I joined TVWBB I never removed the membrane from any pork ribs, cross scored with a knife, but never removed.
In this case I thought it would protect the meat side, it peels off easily when done, and if crisp enough gets eaten too. :)
 
I may have to give this method a try....you made them look super good Bob!! Very nice ....I don't pull the membrane off either...yep lazy...never seemed to make much of a difference to me!
