In all honesty, I've never personally met a pitty that I didn't like. Then again, I've also known the owners, who I considered to be good folks. While there is some truth to their bred-in aggressive traits, those can be largely trained into control.

I'd cheerfully ask that dog's owner if they're friendly, and would like a good scratch. A no, or any signs of aggression, and I'll leave him alone.
