Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!
Well, it's cold and snowing here right now and windy. Supposed to be a nasty day.
So, the ham gets cooked in the oven along with the yam. Going to cook up some asparagus also.
Desert will be some homemade Butter horns our neighbor brought over for us.

Alleluia, alleluia, the Lord is risen indeed!
Rather an involved feast of the ressurection for this afternoon.
Kettle
11# picnic ham,
5# leg of lamb, (we shall see how this sells),
Oven,
Melted sweet potatoes,
Genesis,
Mashed potatoes,
Broccoli with water chestnuts and pecans,
Stovetop,
Corn,
Braised maple orange red cabbage,
Baked goods,
The last of the Boonzaaijer rolls and,
The last beautiful Boonzaaijer Easter (find the eggs) cake!
I’ve got every flat surface in the kitchen covered with feasting elements!
Will post pictures later.
I’ve been at this since 8:00!
Dinner at four.

As promised!
The cake (note bunny heading into his warren).
Sliced platter lamb was a touch “uneven” some was very rare but, the converse of that is true as well, a touch overdone for my taste.
Vegetables,
The melted sweet potatoes,
Ham,
Lamb!
It was a delightful feast!
