started Friday night's dinner with this→ recipe for Brussels sprouts
I did skip the poppies and did not ribbon cut the sprouts...
I did cut the small sprouts into quarters..
here are the Brussels resting in lemon juice

last week, I placed an order with Penzey's and ordered this stuff ▼

used it on a couple of nice chuck eyes...

right outside the front door, I fired up the 18" avocado three-wheeler Weber Bar-B-Q Kettle

steaks on with a cast iron server of mushrooms

baby Yukons were oven roasted & the Brussels sprouts were sautéed stove top with dry vermouth & the other ingredients

a unique flavour in those sprouts, loved them... will make those again!
and the new to me Penzey steak seasoning also is very good... I can see more of this in the future.

Great looking steak dinner. I love Brussel Sprouts but SWMBO doesn't so we rarely have them. I imagine I would skip the poppy seeds as well.
 
Delicious looking plate of food Jim! It is toss up on which of the Penzeys we like best. We have the Chicago Steak
and the Mitchell Street and both are excellent as is all of Penzeys spices.
 
Nice chuck eyes Jim, We had chuck eyes last night too. Fixed mine on the little Weber Bronc smoker. They were a little done, but delicious. Yours on the other hand were spot on.
 
Looks amazing as always Jim! I really need to stop in at Penzey's again. There is one about 20 minutes from me in Downtown Naperville. I went in there once and bought some chipotle powder. I need to try out more of their spice though.
