Asian Crunch Pork Burger

This idea turned out great!

The burger was honey garlic pork sausage meat (skins removed) mixed with ginger, garlic, leeks, a Thai seasoning with cloves and a bit of egg and bread crumbs to make it stick. Topped the grilled burger with sweet Thai Red Chili Sauce.

The crunch comes from two small egg rolls on the bottom of the bun , slit open and some more Thai Red Chili sauce laid in. I was going to use spring rolls but couldn't find any pre-made when I was shopping.

The greens are spiralized cucumber and cilantro, also used sauteed red bell pepper, carrot matchsticks, and tomato slices.

I topped the toasted bun with doctored mayo: wasabi paste, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, carrot, bell pepper and cilantro.

Served with a sesame ginger spiralized salad.
