A pictorial essay of one man's battle with supper while his wife is out of town:

In case you missed it: those are smoked brisket and cream cheese stuffed, bacon wrapped, grilled jalapeno poppers.

I'm probably going to regret eating 16 of them!

After eating 16, I'm not convinced that ABT is just the name of the dish, it may be describing the near future for you (let's hope not though)...

One-man dinners when the spouse is out of town can be glorious. Terrific looking ABT's…I do see your point about the potentially high "regret factor".

Why do I see everyone half shell their jalapenos for turds? I always leave mine whole cut the top off, scape inside, stuff an wrap. That way all the good stuff stays inside. Is there an advantage half shelling that I don't know about?

I use a pair of mini tongs cut in 1/2 to make spoons to clean the inside. The serrated edge are perfect for this. http://amcohouseworks.com/mini-tongs-set-of-2.html
