My bacon adventure started almost 10 days ago with a recipe that Bob Correll posted.

Here's the beginning

Then smoked with Applewood

Here it is all done and smoked. Then took a quick bath in ice water.

Hand sliced. I tried my best.

Then it went on my weber griddle

Thanks Bob for posting your recipe. It was easy and bacon was delicious.

This bacon was delicious. It tasted like bacon but almost more natural. I don't know how to describe it. Its my own flavor.

Thanks for stopping by

Tony and Maribel

Tony that looks delicious. I think if I keep seeing bacon post I will be the next to throw my hat in the bacon ring.

Congrats Tony. I am never buying store bought bacon again. Looks like you did a good job slicing...now if I only had that meat slicer. Oh did you also hear if you put the bacon back in the freezer for a half hour or so, it makes it easier to slice?

Excellent job on the bacon Tony from the cook to the slicing. I could eat 3 of the BLT....nicely done my friend.

Thanks. I didn't know that.
