Order SJ Gold/Silver Mini WSM Parts from Amazon.com

Chris, The "Additional Cooking Grate" link appears to be The Weber 7432 Cooking Grate listed on Amazon for the Smokey Mtn. meaning it would be too large for the Mini WSM. I could be wrong but please advise. Thanks, Mike Note from Moderator: Changed the link to the Weber 7431 cooking grate.

I guess I am having a senior moment! Did you cut the bottom out of the tamale pot or the bottom of the grill or the bottom of the SJG? Sorry for the slow brain, it's pretty cold here!

Thanks for replying so soon John, that is a slick idea to drill the holes and leave the bottom pretty much intact. I am also struggling with which model to use for the mini. Some prefer the SJS and some the SJG. What are your thoughts on this? Thanks again, Mike

I would make my expanded metal charcoal ring as big as could fit in the bottom section. I would measure the height from the bottom grill to the underside of the dome and divide that in half to determine how high to mount the top grill. I think I went a little too high.
