WSM WiFi vs. Non Wifi Controllers

I am going to be purchacing a temperature controller for my WSM 18.5. Has anyone regretted going with WiFi? I am stuck between going all out with the FireBoard 2 Drive & Pit Viper Fan or the DigiQ DX3 and keeping it simple... Thanks for any input
