WSM on wheels

Ever since I got my WSM , I have been planning to add wheels. I won't bore you with all the fits and starts this plan has gone thru , but suffice to say my idea now is to turn the base on wheels that I made into a cart with a side table attached. The basic rolling platform is finished , but I'm going to weatherproof it with some aluminum and I want to add a frame on 3sides and make an attached table as well.
If anyone has any good ideas along these lines I would value your input.

This is a sketch of the basic cart. I'm not much of a draftsman but this is roughly my idea....I would like to make a small table off the side. Maybe with a scrap of corian or something like that.

Nice!
I'm guessing the 3-sided frame will also act as a wind shield?
I would add a table on both sides to help counter-balance it. You could add hinges and a prop so they fold down for storage.

Ooh ! I was thinking of leaving the frame open , but now that you mention it , I like the wind shield idea! I also like the idea of the fold down shelves! Genius! Yes. This is coming together. Thanks , man.

Looks good! One thing though. If you add wind shields to it,make sure you have a way to access the lower vents. Let us know how it turns out!

Frank, I had the same rough idea as you do but havent made it yet. If you havent already bolted the legs to the base, I found some clamps at Harbor Freight for around 5 dollars a piece. They would basically attach to the base and you flip the handle and a rubber knob would lock on the inside of the leg. They make two variatons, with different ways they clamp. I was going to put this on mine to make it easier to remove the bottom section for cleaning and such.

That was the horizontal one, they make one that clamps vertically as well which may take up less space...

another good thought ! i have not secured the legs yet. was cosidering lags ( thinking that when i clean it out i'd just use my shop vac and a stiff brush) i wonder if you would need more than one of these to hold the smoker down...

I was thinking one for each leg but I also planned on throwing mine in the truck to take to work alot. At minimum I would think 2 or it could just pivot off the one and tip if for some reason it got top heavy
