Hi,

i just got a heatermeter from an aquintance, and stupidly i used a wrong setting as pictured.

its hard to find a similar problem on the forum so i registered and made a new post.

i tried all the regular options, formating in sd formatter, deleting all partitions (the last 64 mb), power on with only wifi, with only network cable and both.

nothing seems to get me in the web interface as all previous ip / webadress just times out.

i hope for an answer how to fix it.

maybe through hdmi and usb keyboard?

edit: my laptop sees an unidentified network, but cant find a way to enter the HM.

thanks in advance!

You're probably seeing the effects of the config restore thwarting your attempts to completely wipe the settings. All you need to do to reset it to stock is allow it to boot fully, then go on the device and scroll through the menus until you get to "Reset config?" set it to yes and in a few seconds it should say "Resetting config" and about a minute later the Pi will be rebooted and back to default settings (in AP mode named HeaterMeter).

There's more information about how to wipe a device in the wiki under the Configuration Autobackup section.
