Where did I go wrong?

Hi All,

I Cooked for the second time last night with my bullet using the Heatermeter. unfortunately I seem to be having a big problem with the Lid Open function.

For most of the cook the Heatermeter thought that the lid was open. The Heatermeter would cycle through, turn the fan on, then straight way go back to lid open.

The problem is that I had a temp range of around 225 -235, so it shouldn't have been cycling through lid open

I tried turning the Heatermeter on and off, I changed the % degrees before the lid open would trigger, changed time the lid open stayed on for - nothing worked. So ended up opening the other vents 25% so I could manually keep the Bullet at the 225.

For the last 3 hours of the cook - for no apparent reason, the Heatermeter kicked in and started to work like I thought it would - I.e. Fan went on and off and kept it at a constant 225

I'm sure if it's something that I'm doing, but in have no idea what it is.

The good news is that the Pork was absolutely wonderful, so whilst I got it wrong, it was ultimately right
