Whats cooking for Memorial Day Weekend?

I scored a 3.67 lbs untrimmed tri tip at Ralphs for $1.97 a pound. (I get bragging rights for the day, good price)

question, should i rinse this?

i do rinse and then pat dry. don't overdo it though. thats a great price. my costco has the untrimmed for 3.99. i didn't buy any. i'm doing a brisket though.

Yes, That's a great buy, on some tri-tip! Rinse, pat dry, put on your favorite seasoning, grill it, smoke it, bbq it, you name it. It's a great cut of beef! I'm doing a brisky this weekend.
