What color is my kettle?

This is a 1995 Weber Kettle that I got today. What color red is this? It is substantially darker than my Red Head Genesis.

Unfortunately it's pretty rough, too.

In the first pic, this seems like a dull red. In the sun, it's much brighter. Odd overall.

Unfortunately, the bowl and lid aren't in great shape. The sweeper and ash pan are missing. One leg is destroyed, and the wheels/triangle are pretty poor. Grates aren't great. I will probably have to get a parts grill to revive this or write it off as a loss :(

Rust is the biggest killer of the kettle. Very cool looking color though.

Is there any way of getting rid of the attached mark? I'm not quite sure what it is. It is not on the porcelain, and I don't know what it is. 0000 steel wool does not help.
