Weber Summit Charcoal Snapjet Air Leak

Still just planning for the day I can purchase my S6 (still "coming soon" to Canada), but I keep seeing posts about air leaking with the snapjet ignition system. Does anyone have one of these and have any comments? Is the air leaking from AROUND the outside of the jet tube, or sucking air directly THROUGH the tube itself?

Is this of any real concern (the left to right burning pattern) etc.? Just wondering if it is just people not being happy with imperfection, or a real issue?

Hi Grant I have had mine for about 8 months now and have probably 100 cooks on it and have never had any issues with the snap jet starter leaking. I typically use it to start my charcoal. Not that it is related to your question but is a much better starter then the ones used on the performers.
