Weber spirit e-210 crossover burner tube question

Hi all! I’m doing my best to do a deep clean on my 2014 grill. While trying to clean the crossover tube the drip shields have come off Is there a good way to reattach them Is it safe to use without them? Any advice appreciated Thanks!!!IMG_6390.jpeg
 
Well, if you're the original owner, I would contact Weber in the next few days for warranty replacement. Burners have a 10-year warranty. I had similar failures on my FIL's and my E-210.
 
To attach them you can spot weld them, but the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. It’s fine without them.
