Just make sure that you foil that char-bin at 145-160 degrees and you should be nice and unblemished at finish.

Can any of the Performer owners comment on the ease and maintenance of the ignition system.
I like the stainless look on the sides of the 2005 Performer, but wonder if it just adds weight and extra maintenance for the burner.
So, I'm trying to decide on a Craigslist OTG Platinum or wait for a Performer again. Wish I could just buy both!
