Weber Genesis 3000 firebox degreaser recco's in CA?

Starting a refurbish on a new to me Genesis 3000 redhead. In reading through the how to’s it’s recommended to use a break cleaner to degrease the outside firebox. Of course in the great state of CA we’re not allowed to purchase the one recommended. Any recommendations for one to use that can be ordered off Amazon and shipped to CA? Thank you in advance.
 
That or any type of non oily paint thinner/degreaser. I.E. lacquer thinner/reducer, prepsol or similar all will do the job.
