Weber GBS Dutch Oven

Hi there

I'm a Weber newbie so I can only apologise for the question I am about to ask. I've just bought the Dutch Oven and can't wait to use. Sadly it's -1C here today, so no way I'm going outside to use it! Can I use it in a traditional oven?

Cheers in advance

Greer

I am with Tim, it is just a nice CI dutch over that is designed to fit into the Weber GBS grate system.
I have a lodge CI dutch oven, lodge CI skillet, and lodge CI griddle. They were purchased and used primarily with my Weber kettle, but I have used them all inside also. Treat that CI well and enjoy!

Hi Greer, welcome to TVWBB. Yes, the dutch oven can be used in the oven. However, if you have the new version, the GBS Dutch Oven Duo with the flat top lid, you will need to place it on a baking sheet or something similar. It has three feet on it that would sit unevenly on an oven rack. I have the Duo. I wish it had a single handle on the lid like the previous version, but other than that I love it.

You can see one of the feet in this photo.
