Weber 18" Kettle


 
I assume you mean OTG? I looked at the 2012 Weber catalogue (U.S version have no idea about Canadian) and the OTG came in 22.5 as well as the 18.5.
However, now in Canada (at least on the Canadian Weber site) the only OTG is the 26.75, all the rest is the silver versions.

Thanks Colin. Yes I was interested in an 18" kettle but on a wooden deck I would only want the OTG.

Thanks. I did not see the 18 even in the US site for 2013 in a OTG.
 
Next to positive you are correct. I do not think that the 18.5 OTG is being offered in the US any longer either, only in the OTS. It is a very practical size, although I have to admit mine does not get near the use of the 22.5's. On the plus side, you can really get some great searing temps from it. I also like to use mine with the coals distributed around the edges to make things in my 8X8 stoneware casserole dish sitting on fire bricks on the grate. It is easy to maintain a consistent 350 degrees with this set up for extended periods which opens up all kinds of possibilities for sides and desserts.

Hope you are able to locate one.

Part number 63092 $22 plus shipping. I'm pretty sure the model number for the 18 OTG is 451001.
 
Mike, thanks, I saw your post initially and that was what got me wondering because I don't recall paying any attention to the 18 before and now after having a 22 and the 26 I'm thinking I would like an 18 for the odd time I might need it. By the time I buy a silver and do it up... maybe a used 18 will come up. I don't know if they were ever offered up here but I will try to check that out. I have a feeling the 18 OTG was available here, will have to check.
