I don't know what to think, my cooking grate has a few bars that are warped up or down quite a bit after only 5 uses. Not sure if this is normal. My spatula slides right under it.

My grandparents have had their Weber kettle since the 60's and the grate is still fine (and original). Something just doesn't seem right with mine.

The charcoal grates in all 5 of my Weber grills are wraped. I take them out and lay them on the driveway and then whack them with a heavy hammer to realign them.

When they get really bad I pick up new ones at HD.

You don't by any chance burn them off with a weed burner (torch) do you?

I managed to get one so hot it warped when I was burning it off with my weed burner that I used to start my charcoal.

I don't use a weedwacker burner gizmo, just the ignitor with regular kingsford. I think I'll call Weber

Thanks
