Warming rack?

I just picked up a new Weber Performer Platinum and I would like to add a warming rack. I have found out that Weber no longer offers the warming rack with p/n 3200 in the U.S. any longer. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on a viable alternative. Thanks in advance.

I've seen where some just cut a OTS grate along the crossbar and add 3-4 SS bolts, nuts and fender washers.

Anthony, I have seen a couple of the original weber warming racks up here at the smaller hardware stores, they go for around $25 cdn although shipping to where you are would be costly.

I can get a hold of em. Shiping would be STEEP! belive me i have send a few over seas. And i cant get them @ 25CDN.

I tryed my Primo oval xl standard grates in my 22". Wokrs fine but they dont leave mutch room on the original grate. Tryed the extended racks from the Primo aswell,Does work but dont give you mutch space along the sides. Since these grates take up half of the 22" The middle part of the extender will work but then again its even hotter there then your normal grate level so i would get the original or none at all! My 2 cents

you can also take a smaller grill grate, cut it down to size you want, add some bolts as legs and yer good to go and for very little cost.
