Valve repair Summit 470

I have an older Summit (2013) that works great. When I turn the knob and press in, the valves create a spark, i can hear the valve Open & gas flow thru but does not light the burners. I can manually light the burner and the flame is perfect and can regulate from High to Low no problem. What would cause the valve to not light the burner?
In this picture you can see the igniter sparked and a small amount of gas light the tube for gas but not enough gas to light the burner tube.
I can order a replacement valve for $40 but prefer a quick fix - Thoughts?

So is the valve one of those "jet type"? If so while I've never actually seen or used one I'd think maybe some cleaning would be in order.

I would remove the manifold and valves, disassemble the offending one, carefully documenting with photos every piece and every place that piece belongs. It's likely old grease in the valve has migrated into an internal orifice. I had similar issues (not ignition but poor heat) on my OG Genesis 2 I bought years ago. Very bad heat distribution no matter what I did. Actually so bugged by it I bought another grill and was going the unload the Weber. I'd finally out of desperation called Weber and lady I spoke to explained this. I was totally shocked at how bad the valve internals had gotten. Which years later led to a tutorial after I explained this and Chris was kind enough to put a full tutorial together with photos. I'm not good with "search" function here but I'm sure someone can put the link up. Your valves will be different than what's pictured but the principal will be the same
