Tomato bisque with shrimp

This tomato bisque with shrimp is very quick and tasty. No salt is needed due to feta cheese and soup ingredients. You can also add lump crab meat to this or substitute for shrimp. It's very good without the shrimp/crab! This batch makes quite a bit of soup.

2 family size (26 oz) cans of condensed tomato soup.
1 lb. of peeled/deveined shrimp.
1 cup half and half.
1 8 - 10 oz can of diced tomatoes (with sweet onion if you can find it).
8 oz of feta cheese.
1/4 stick of butter.
1 TBL of sweet basil (dry is fine).

Heat soup, tomatoes, half and half, butter together and using a stick blender or processor, process to eliminate lumps from diced tomatoes.
Add feta cheese and shrimp, bring to boil for a couple of minutes or until shrimp are cooked.
Stir in basil.
Serve with crusty bread.

Thanks so much Paul. My wife and I tried this last night and it was delicious. Next time I will use smaller shrimp, but the flavor was great! I also think I will try the crab as you suggested.

Thanks again,

Ray
